Newton Electric Supply has been in the electrical and lighting business for over 40 years. It was founded in 1965 by Nino Colasacco as an electrical contractor business in a very small building in Newton Upper Falls, just west of Boston, MA. At some point in the early 1970's, he put some lighting fixtures on the ceiling so that his customers could see the lights before they bought them. In the years to follow Newton Electric, the business and the building, got bigger and bigger. Because of Nino's experience as a master electrician he was able to offer his customers a level of service over and above that of his competitors. Many years later and after many additions on to that little building, a much larger Newton Electric is still standing in the same location, and it is the same dedication to service today that keeps our customers coming back to see us.
